Mantate Q. Mlotshwa is a strategy consultant, development practitioner, speaker, and scholar. She is the Founder & Lead of First Today Africa, a nonprofit focused on training and capacity building for institutions and leaders across the continent. With over eight years of experience in democracy, rights, and governance, she has led initiatives amplifying the voices of women, youth, and marginalized communities. Mantate is currently pursuing a Master’s in Global African Studies at The Africa Institute. She holds an MSc from the University of Oxford, a BSc in Psychology from the University of Zimbabwe, and recently completed a year as a CAMRI Visiting Scholar at the University of Westminster.
