Janet Mtali has spent over 13 years in media and communications. She is the first female National Director for TWR Malawi, a position she has held since July 2023, leading a nationwide faith-based radio network in Malawi. Janet holds an MSc in Communication for Development from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Malawi. She is also an alumnus of the WAN-IFRA Women in News Leadership Accelerator Program and the Mandela Washington Fellowship. Over the years, her focus has been on health, youth, and women’s issues, earning international recognition for outstanding health reporting.
