Queenter Mbori is the Executive Director of, Association of Media Women in Kenya. She is an Award-winning Gender Equality Advocate, Multimedia Journalist, Mentor, and Certified Media Trainer with extensive experience and skills in gender-sensitive and gender-transformative storytelling.
She is passionate about politics, peace and security, gender justice, economic empowerment, and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and has worked closely with renowned organizations to advance gender equality with and through the media.
Ms.Mbori is the Founding President and Current Board Chair of The Standard Group Women Network, where she leaves an excellent track record of advocacy, having established the Gender Desk, revamped the Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy, and launched the transformative and one-of-a-kind Standard Group Mentorship Academy.
As Founder of Woman Kenya Network (WOKN), a multi-media company committed to advancing gender equality, diversity, and inclusion, Ms. Mbori is passionate about championing the empowerment of women, girls, and marginalized groups by strengthening equity and nurturing women leaders in society.
