Robi Koki Ochieng is a transformative educator, media scholar, and consultant with over 30 years of experience across education and strategic communication. She chairs the Media and Communication Department at USIU-Africa, where she mentors future media professionals. A Media Viability Fellow (DW Akademie, 2023), she is also an alumna of Marquette University and China Foreign Affairs University. Robi has led major research and advocacy projects on GBV, countering violent extremism, and devolved governance. With deep expertise in communication strategy and curriculum development, her work continues to shape media practices in Africa through service, impactful research, and inclusive storytelling.
