My names are Anna Nimiriano Nunu Siya, Editor in Chief of Juba Monitor Daily English Newspaper. Was the leading newspaper in the country, I was the first female Editor in Chief in the country. I worked in the field of journalism more than 15 years. In2019, I received Africa Award in UK by WAN-IFRA, WIN, in October the same year, I received International Award around the United States of America. It was not easy to work in the country that has sever conflict, I suffered alot in the process of doing work. In 2022 I was put in prison for three days and the newspaper was closed down upto now, due to misunderstanding between the Shareholders. I’m jobless more than two years and authority for media affairs in the country (Media Authority) is not allowed me to participate in any media activities. I’m graduate of University, and had Diploma in Thealogy and other certificates. I visited many countries in Africa and beyond, had presented papers in International and National events. I’m very glad to be part of this presentation.
