Prof. Angelo Dube is an accomplished academic and legal expert currently serving as the Acting Director of the School of Law at the University of South Africa (UNISA). With a Doctor of Laws (LLD) from the University of the Western Cape, specializing in International Criminal Law, and a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) from UNISA, Prof. Dube brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. He has over 15 years of experience in higher education, with a strong background in postgraduate supervision, legal research, and publications. Prof. Dube is also a qualified pilot and flies fixed wing aircraft. Prof. Dube served as the Chief Editor of the South African Yearbook of International Law for six years and is actively involved in various university committees, including those focused on quality assurance, moot courts, and postgraduate studies. He has held significant roles within the legal and academic communities over the years. He is a convener of the General Aviation Indaba, a deliberative platform that brings together thought leaders in the industry across the southern African region. Prof. Dube is also the Founder and CEO of The Research Platform (Pty) Ltd and Flying Jurist (Pty) Ltd, where he provides research coaching, consultancy services, and leadership in the legal and aviation sectors.
