Latifa Tayah is the Director of the Studies and Development Department at the High Authority for Audiovisual Communication.In this role, she oversees the production of different studies focusing in particular on issues of social inclusion and representation in audiovisual media, such as the analysis of journalistic coverage of gender-based violence and the study of stereotypes conveyed in advertising messages.Latifa is a graduate of the French Press Institute (DEA in multimedia media) and Sciences Po Paris (international relations).Previously, Latifa was an editor at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responsible for audiovisual cooperation issues.She was in charge of programmes to support media pluralism and independence at the Panos Europe Institute, overseeing the Central Africa and Middle East and North Africa Programmes. She also headed the International Solidarity Department at Cimade (France).Latifa is the author of a novel and short stories.
