Wynne Musabayana is an accomplished Communications Manager with extensive expertise in strategic communication, journalism, public relations, knowledge management, and stakeholder engagement.
She currently serves as Head of Communications at the African Union, where she led the powerful “I Am African, I Am the African Union” campaign, spearheaded the AU’s Ebola and COVID19 communications, launched the AU’s flagship magazine AU ECHO, and established the Union’s first media infrastructure.
Her career spans senior management and executive roles with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, First Mutual Life Assurance Society, and the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation, as well as international experience with the IFRC, UNECA, UNFPA, and ILO.
Wynne is passionate about building strong partnerships with communicators and ensuring that African voices and stories resonate across the continent and beyond.
