Adeng Mayik is a South Sudanese multimedia journalist, communications strategist, and academic leader with over a decade of experience across Africa and Asia. She has worked with CNN International, Agence France-Presse (AFP), SSBC, and Eye Radio. Currently Head of Journalism and Media at the University of Juba and Press Secretary in the SPLM Secretary General’s Office, Adeng is a Mandela Washington Fellow and founder of Fursa Link and the Media Development Foundation, championing digital safety and women’s media leadership in Africa.
