Brenda Namata is the Programs Coordinator on Strategic Gender Initiatives and Advocacy at Pollicy. She contributes to developing strategic initiatives, policy advocacy, gender mainstreaming and digital resilience projects design and implementations. She also contributes to building and sustaining stakeholder relations of Pollicy and its representation. Brenda holds vast knowledge and experience in gender and media development, digital and social justice framing for the inclusion of women into development processes and gender equality. She has contributed to gender law reforms in Uganda, built the capacity of over 700 journalists and Human Rights Defenders at national, regional and Africa levels. She is passionate about gender equality and how women are centred in decision making processes that inform leadership, development and human rights.
