Dr. Laiatu Augustine Bamaiyi is a Nigerian journalist, development communicator, and gender rights advocate. She is the founder and CEO of Women Rights Initiative (WORI), an NGO focused on gender equality, disability inclusion, and child rights. Dr. Bamaiyi has been recognized among the Top 50 Women Voices in the Development and NGO Sector for her impactful work in women’s empowerment and social justice . I also serves as the Kebbi State Chairperson of Women Journalist and The State Coordinator of Network for women with Disabilities,championing access to healthcare and social support for marginalized groups .
