Ilana Gasa is a digital wellness advocate and social worker committed to fostering behavioral change in media consumption. She is the founder of the Digital Defense Blueprint Initiative and creator of the “If the Internet Buried Me” mock eulogy toolkit, designed to help young people reflect on their digital habits. Ilana volunteers with the Zimbabwe Information Technology and Empowerment Center and is an Early Career Fellow with the Internet Society. Her advocacy addresses disinformation, digital well-being, youth empowerment, and technology-facilitated gender-based violence, with a focus on building inclusive, cyber-safe communities through education and grassroots engagement.

Fun fact: Ilana once used a viral meme to lead a media literacy workshop, successfully engaging young people and sparking critical conversations about digital behavior.
