Miriam Beatrice Wanjiru is a digital rights and inclusion advocate with expertise in tech policy and governance across Africa. She is the Programmes Officer for East Africa at Paradigm Initiative, leading regional projects that advance human rights in the digital age. Miriam has contributed to high-level policy dialogues and capacity-building initiatives on AI governance, digital inclusion, and human rights at leading forums across Africa and internationally. She holds a BA (Hons) in Public Policy, a Master’s in International Studies, and is currently pursuing a certification in Artificial Intelligence Law, Policy, and Governance at the London School of Economics.
