Taynita Harilal
Taynita Harilal is a rising academic, strategist, and co-founder of EC Africa. Currently pursuing a PhD in succession planning for Black women in family-owned businesses at Wits Business School, she brings deep insight into legacy-building and inclusive entrepreneurship. Taynita is also being groomed as the successor for JT Comms, the African Media Resource Centre of Excellence, and EC Africa — playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of media, storytelling, and innovation on the continent. Her work focuses on empowering entrepreneurs, amplifying underrepresented voices, and using digital platforms to drive systemic change across Africa.
