Deputy Director General of Ethiopian Media Authority, appointed in April 2021. With a background in education, communications, and public service. Previously worked as a Senior Communication Consultant. Actively advocated for law amendments during Ethiopia’s reform agenda to democratize institutions and expand civic space. A former Executive Committee member and spokesperson for the opposition Blue Party, also served on the board of Addis Media Network. Holds an MA in Global Studies and International Relations and a BA in Foreign Languages and Literature.
